As we begin semester 2, we want to share some more grad information to keep you in the loop as some important things will be happening in the near future.Student Grad Committee Meeting: Our next grad committee meeting will be next Tuesday, May 7 @ lunch in Bernadette's room. I have the mock ups from Lethbridge Event Rentals, so we can begin to choose what we want things to look like. Some things to prepare for before the meeting...
- We need to finalize who will be speaking for students. If you signed up to do a speech, please be there so we can make decisions. If you are not there, you may not get to speak.
- We need to plan the evening dance portion. Come with your great ideas and ready to make some decisions.
Grad Checks: Advisors are currently doing grad checks with the grad 12 students. They have a checklist that they will go through to ensure that grade 12 students are completing the tasks that need to be done in order to graduate. Please encourage your grade 12 student to stop by and see their advisor regarding grad checks.
Grad Fees: The grad fee is now DUE and it has been added to School Cash Online for Grade 12 students. If your student is not graduating, please contact our office at 403-328-4723 so that we can remove the fee. The fee for graduation this year is $100.00, and it includes: cap and gown fee; diploma covers; rental fee at the venue; and decorations.
Grad Luncheon - Tuesday June 4 from 11:00am - 12:15pm - This is very important! We will meet in the gym as a grad class and feed you lunch!! We will then go over EVERYTHING you need to know about the day of grad. We walk you through what they day will look like, and even show you how to shake hands with your advisor (believe it or not, its important to do this correctly!). Please save this date and ensure you are here for it!
